So I attend the Plymouth College of Art and Design (or P-CAD) where I am studying for my degree in Photography. If you attend the College then you are fully aware of one very prominent character that can sometimes be seen relaxing at the benches out back, prowling the premises and, OCCASIONALLY, going to lectures. This is PCAt. And this is her story:
One day there was an 20 year old girl, Pam, that was starting her degree in Illustration. The reason she was starting at 20 and not 2 years earlier was because she had had a gap year whereupon she worked for 6 months in a café before traveling to Germany [can I also just quickly jump in and say I just watched Driving Wars…what the hell did I just waste an hour watching?] with her two friends, Sarah and Kelly. Everything was going well until she got caught on the wrong side of Dusseldorf and got blackmailed in to carrying a kilo of heroin to Munich. One thing lead to another and 9 months later she was running the biggest drug cartel in Frankfurt with Sarah still at her side, while Kelly had lost her life to shooting up while the other two had sworn never to cut from the stash. 7 months passed and Pam returned to her home in Dorset after a showdown with the leaders of the Schwarzen Jackens and she took a rusty blade to the shoulder (which she later covered up with a tattoo with the word Schal which is German for scarf - it was then redesigned in to a butterfly, don’t ask how) and Kelly was thrown off of the Europaturm in an experimental-drug infused big wheel chase. She was accepted to do her degree with no fuss or question. In her final year while tailgating for the Superbowl she blacked out for the whole weekend and when she came around on the monday morning with no recollection of the score from the previous night and a cat sat on her desk. That very cat, that appeared out of nowhere with nobody having an idea what the hell it was doing always wearing a top hat did not become PCAt. PCAt doesn’t have a top hat, come on! No, PCAt just turned up one day, got fed by a student and has been coming back nearly everyday for several years.
